Developed a new feature for the snowflakedb/snowflake-cli repository, introducing SQL LIKE filtering to the list-images command. This enhancement allows users to filter image listings using SQL patterns, improving the command’s flexibility and business value. The work involved updating both the command definition and the manager class to support the LIKE clause within SQL queries. Comprehensive unit and integration tests were implemented to ensure reliability and maintainability, with targeted refactoring and test scaffolding to support future development. The project was delivered using Python and SQL, with a focus on CLI development and robust testing practices throughout the month’s work.
