Worked on the kube-burner/kube-burner-ocp repository to enhance observability and performance monitoring for rds-core workloads by implementing idle background jobs that collect both baseline and post-churn metrics. This feature, developed using Go and YAML within a Kubernetes backend context, enables more accurate detection of performance regressions and supports reliable capacity planning. The technical approach emphasized maintainability and traceability, as evidenced by signed-off and co-authored commits. Collaboration with other contributors was reflected in the commit history, ensuring code hygiene and alignment with project standards. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts focused on delivering this targeted improvement.
