In March 2025, OpenITI/FASDH25 delivered two substantive features that enhance content quality, localization, and analytics capabilities. The Urdu narrative content creation and curation feature adds and refines Urdu content in markdown/docs (including Amjad.txt), improves formatting, punctuation, descriptive text, and narrative updates, laying groundwork for consistent multilingual publishing. The Python-based text analysis tool for place-name mentions enables counting mentions in Al Jazeera articles with a dedicated class, helpers, file-path setup, and regex-based counting, supporting scalable analytics across article corpora. These efforts collectively improve editorial quality, enable research-oriented analytics, and establish reusable components for future multilingual content and cross-article analysis. Overall, the month reflects disciplined delivery with clear code changes, documentation, and modular tooling that can be extended to additional languages and datasets.
