Worked on enhancing the SeventeenTrack integration within the home-assistant/core repository by delivering a session management upgrade focused on reliability. Refactored the integration to use a dedicated HTTP session, ensuring login cookies are preserved and reducing the risk of connection instability or user session leakage. This approach improved automation reliability for users relying on SeventeenTrack by minimizing login-related outages and downtime. The work demonstrated proficiency in Python, API integration, and asynchronous programming, with careful alignment to Home Assistant core integration patterns. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the feature contributed to smoother and more dependable backend operations.
