Worked on the shaka-project/shaka-player repository to deliver a complete Sindarin localization enhancement, translating all 70 user interface strings to close existing gaps and improve accessibility for Sindarin-speaking users. Leveraged JSON for translation files and utilized automation tools such as Claude Code and elvish-translation-tools to streamline the internationalization workflow. The approach ensured full coverage and consistency with the latest source strings, validated through a dedicated preview environment. This work expanded the platform’s localization support, reducing barriers for new users and supporting broader adoption. The project focused on localization, software internationalization, and translation, with all changes tracked and committed for transparency.
