Worked on backend development for the kaltura/server repository, focusing on improving data integrity within the FMP4 asset playback path. Addressed a bug by implementing a PHP-based solution that filters out null values from the assets array before evaluating FMP4 playback requirements, thereby preventing null-related errors and reducing runtime exceptions. This targeted fix ensures that only valid asset data is considered during playback validation, resulting in a more stable and reliable media playback experience for both users and downstream systems. The work demonstrated attention to detail in asset validation logic and contributed to the overall robustness of the playback infrastructure.
