Supriyaat worked on the JabRef/jabref repository, focusing on enhancing the StringUtilTest component by refactoring it to use parameterized tests. This approach expanded test coverage and improved the maintainability of the codebase, making it easier to add new scenarios and organize edge cases. By leveraging Java and JUnit, Supriyaat improved the readability of test cases and streamlined onboarding for future contributors. The work demonstrated a solid understanding of unit testing principles and effective use of Git-based pull request workflows. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the contribution strengthened the reliability of string utility functions across the project.
