Shanon Place developed an optional content type creation and selection feature for the Image Focal App within the contentful/apps repository. This enhancement addressed the need for flexible content modeling by allowing users to either create new content types or select existing ones, thereby supporting a range of authoring workflows. Shanon updated the user interface and content type snapshots to accurately reflect these changes and ensure test stability. The work was implemented using JavaScript and React, demonstrating skills in both front end and full stack development. The solution focused on reducing author friction and maintaining code quality through targeted, traceable commits.
