Shasagar enhanced the microsoft/CSS-Exchange repository by developing a validation feature for the IIS Information Analyzer, focusing on the reliability and security of Exchange Back End site bindings. Using PowerShell scripting and leveraging expertise in IIS configuration and system administration, Shasagar implemented logic to detect when the Exchange Back End website was bound to a single IP address rather than a wildcard. This approach proactively prevents misconfiguration, ensuring Exchange services remain available and secure. The work demonstrated a targeted, in-depth solution to a specific infrastructure risk, reflecting a methodical application of scripting and administrative skills to improve operational robustness.
