Developed automated documentation build optimizations for the Shopify/ui-extensions repository, focusing on improving the developer workflow for Checkout UI Extensions. Leveraging Shell scripting and CI/CD practices, introduced two scripts that enable incremental rebuilds of only changed static documentation files and provide an auto-rebuild feature triggered by file changes. This approach reduced build times and allowed for immediate feedback by copying generated documentation to the shopify-dev directory for local testing and demos. The work emphasized developer tooling and scripting, resulting in a faster iteration cycle and a more efficient feedback loop, though it was limited to a single feature within one month.
