Worked on expanding Texas Instruments (TI) SoC support within the espressif/openocd-esp32 repository, focusing on configuration management and hardware bring-up for embedded systems. Delivered three features, including a system reset mechanism for TI K3 devices using the Power-AP SPREC register, enabling resets on boards lacking traditional SRST/TRST lines. Added target configuration and Launchpad support for both TI AM263P and AM261 SoCs, updating DAP TAPID values and integrating onboard XDS110/JTAG interfaces. Employed Tcl for configuration scripting and leveraged debugging and hardware interaction skills to strengthen OpenOCD’s coverage of TI K3 and AM26x families, improving device onboarding and debug workflows.
