Worked on enhancing the security of the monitoring stack in the portworx/helm repository by delivering a targeted CVE remediation for Prometheus and Alertmanager. Addressed vulnerabilities by upgrading container images and updating references in values.yaml, index.yaml, and versions.yaml, ensuring secure versions were deployed across environments. Focused on maintaining operational continuity, the updates were validated to minimize disruption and preserve compatibility with existing Kubernetes deployments. Demonstrated expertise in Helm chart maintenance, YAML configuration, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on security patching. The work strengthened compliance with security baselines and provided clear traceability from code commit through to deployment.
