During July 2025, Slotman developed and integrated a new layers-difference icon into the launchdarkly/launchpad-ui repository, enhancing the icon library’s support for multi-layer workflows. Slotman used SVG and TypeScript to define the icon within the SVG sprite and updated icon type definitions, ensuring type-safe usage throughout the codebase. This addition improved visual differentiation and consistency across UI components, supporting clearer user experiences for layer-based configurations. The work focused on front end development, iconography, and UI development, aligning the design system and reducing future design-to-development handoff effort. No bugs were addressed, as the month’s efforts centered on feature delivery and documentation.
