In the Shopify/cli repository, River enhanced OAuth token security by refactoring sensitive parameter handling in compliance with RFC 6749, masking credentials in logs and expanding test coverage to prevent leakage. For Shopify/tapioca, River maintained CI stability and library compatibility by updating RBI files and suppressing type conflicts for the net-imap gem, leveraging Ruby and type checking expertise. The work demonstrated careful attention to security, maintainability, and robust integration.
