In ROCm/jax, addressed a numerical computing issue by capping the output of a function to the float32 range, preventing overflow to negative infinity in dot product attention calculations with float64 inputs. Applied skills in back end development, machine learning, and unit testing to deliver targeted improvements that reduce downstream maintenance and improve reliability.
