Focused on Java development, the work involved adding a null check after bucket retrieval to prevent NullPointerExceptions when a non-existent bucket is referenced. Enhanced error handling by introducing informative logging and throwing descriptive exceptions, which provided actionable feedback for users and improved triage of ingestion failures. These targeted changes increased the reliability and maintainability of production pipelines, ensuring that missing bucket scenarios are handled transparently.
