Over a two-month period, contributed backend and blockchain development expertise to the prysmaticlabs/prysm and Layr-Labs/eigenda repositories. Developed a security feature for Prysm’s Ethereum 2 client that broadcasts proposer slashings immediately upon equivocation, introducing new error types and comprehensive unit tests in Go to strengthen validator accountability and network security. Later, enhanced the EigenDA Proxy by implementing strict error handling for secondary storage writes, adding a configuration flag that returns HTTP 500 on failure and ensuring robust test coverage for both success and failure scenarios. Focused on reliability, error handling, and maintainability, the work emphasized thorough testing and clear configuration management.
October 2025 performance summary for Layr-Labs/eigenda. Delivered a new strict error handling capability for secondary storage writes in the EigenDA Proxy, with robust test coverage and improved resilience. Implemented the error-on-secondary-insert-failure flag to enforce stricter error handling; when enabled, the proxy returns HTTP 500 on the first secondary write failure, ensuring rapid visibility of critical failures. The work enhances data correctness guarantees and improves downstream reliability. Includes focused testing and code quality improvements that support maintainability and future feature work.
