Worked on the microsoft/playwright repository to deliver a new noDefaults option for the connectOverCDP method, enabling connections to browsers without applying default overrides and thereby preserving the existing browser state. This feature was implemented using TypeScript and focused on enhancing the determinism of automated tests by reducing unintended state changes during CDP session initialization. The approach demonstrated proficiency in API development and full stack engineering, integrating the new flow seamlessly into the existing codebase. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on maintainable code changes that improve test reliability and support more predictable browser automation workflows.
