Worked on enhancing observability for the MCP integration in the microsoft/teams.ts repository by implementing comprehensive logging throughout the codebase. Introduced new logger instances to monitor tool fetching, function execution, plugin usage, and function calls, all using TypeScript. This structured approach to logging improved debugging capabilities and enabled more effective traceability of system behavior, supporting faster incident response and more reliable maintenance. Focused on plugin development and debugging, the work established a foundation for future observability improvements within the MCP integration. No major bugs were reported during this period, with the primary contribution centered on robust monitoring and instrumentation enhancements.
