Worked on enhancing the Leantime deployment process by improving its Helm chart, focusing on deployment compatibility and security. The changes aligned both container and service ports to 8080, simplifying network configuration and reducing potential mismatches. By making the storage class optional, the deployment became more adaptable across different Kubernetes environments, lowering operational barriers. A default secure session configuration was introduced to strengthen security out of the box. All improvements were implemented using YAML within the Leantime/leantime repository, leveraging DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise. The work addressed deployment and service issues, streamlining the setup process for future Leantime installations.
March 2025: Delivered Helm chart improvements for Leantime deployment, enabling a consistent 8080 port mapping, optional storage class, and a default secure session configuration. This work streamlined deployment compatibility, improved security posture, and reduced operational friction.
