Worked on the companieshouse/insolvency-delta-consumer repository, focusing on infrastructure as code and DevOps improvements using Terraform, HCL, and Shell. Refactored the EventBridge scheduler integration for ECS services by centralizing resource management within the ecs-service-kafka-error module, replacing boolean creation flags with explicit ARNs to reduce configuration risk and improve security. Simplified module interfaces by removing unused input variables, making ongoing maintenance easier. Additionally, delivered a codebase hygiene feature that improved readability and reduced formatting-related issues, supporting more reliable pull requests and smoother future development. The work emphasized maintainability, security, and streamlined collaboration across the codebase.
