During March 2025, Silver Jade focused on improving code quality and maintainability in the spacemeshos/go-spacemesh repository. She addressed a documentation bug by aligning function comments with their actual implementations and renaming legacy identifiers for consistency, specifically updating references from WithSchema to WithDatabaseSchema and correcting Snaptshot to Snapshot. Using Go and leveraging her skills in code refactoring and documentation, she ensured that the codebase’s documentation accurately reflected its current state. This work reduced the risk of confusion for future contributors, streamlined onboarding, and established a clearer foundation for safer refactoring and API usage in ongoing and future development.
