Worked on the SpareBank1/designsystem repository to enhance reliability and developer experience by addressing a critical dependency issue related to ESLint compatibility. Focused on updating peerDependencies for eslint-config-ffe and eslint-config-ffe-base, the work ensured seamless integration with ESLint version 9 and above while preventing installation errors with older versions. Using JavaScript and npm, the developer resolved a versioning conflict that previously disrupted consumer environments, thereby stabilizing the installation process. The changes maintained compatibility with existing configurations and reduced support overhead, reflecting a targeted approach to dependency management and ecosystem stability within the JavaScript and ESLint tooling landscape.
