Siwadon S. enhanced Thai localization for the open-webui/open-webui repository, focusing on refining translations throughout the user interface to improve clarity and accessibility for Thai-speaking users. Working primarily with JSON and leveraging front end development skills, Siwadon systematically revised sidebar and application-wide text, addressing inconsistencies and improving translation accuracy. The approach centered on internationalization (i18n) and translation management best practices, ensuring that the UI better serves a broader audience. While the work was limited to one feature over a month, it laid a solid foundation for future localization efforts and reduced translation-related friction within the application’s user experience.
