During May 2026, contributed to the qmk/qmk_firmware repository by developing a new keyboard configuration for the A.Okay! MID.1 device. This work focused on expanding hardware support and user customization, enabling a compact layout, customizable keymaps, RGB lighting, and encoder functionality. The implementation followed upstream QMK practices, with all changes documented and traceable through a dedicated commit, ensuring clear provenance and maintainability. Leveraging expertise in QMK firmware, embedded systems, and keyboard firmware development, the update improved device readiness for production and OEM integration. The configuration was defined using JSON, supporting out-of-the-box usability and streamlined future enhancements for the device.
