Worked on the actualbudget/actual repository to enhance the stability and security of account filter functionality. Focused on fixing a UUID leakage issue and improving the rendering logic for account filter operator switching, ensuring correct behavior across various input types. Utilized React and TypeScript to implement robust conversion between multi-ID and text inputs, supporting both single-value arrays and no-value operators for greater usability. Refactored filter logic for clarity and long-term maintainability, while leveraging CI automation to streamline code quality and upstream synchronization. These efforts resulted in a smoother user experience and reduced edge-case failures in front end workflows.
