Contributed Swedish language support to the Jellyfin Web UI in the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository, focusing on enhancing accessibility for Swedish-speaking users and expanding the application's reach in Scandinavian markets. Leveraged i18n and localization expertise to deliver comprehensive translations of key UI strings and messages, utilizing JSON and a Weblate-based workflow to streamline the translation process. This approach minimized manual intervention and established a scalable foundation for future localization efforts. The work centered on translation quality and workflow validation rather than bug fixes, resulting in improved user experience and supporting ongoing internationalization initiatives within the web development environment.
