Worked on the androidx/media repository to expand and reorganize the CodecDbLite database, focusing on enhancing device compatibility assessments for Android media features. Delivered a feature that added support for Google Tensor G4 and Qualcomm 8 Elite chipsets, while refactoring the data structure to list chipsets alphabetically by manufacturer and model. This approach improved data completeness and streamlined maintenance for downstream users. Demonstrated skills in Java, Android development, and data management, with careful attention to version control and repository maintenance. The work enabled faster compatibility checks and contributed to a more organized and maintainable codec database within the Android media stack.
