During December 2025, Sloonz developed external configuration support for API requests in the woodpecker-ci/woodpecker repository. This work introduced a new configuration field to the API request payload, enabling clients to send external configuration data alongside existing parameters. Sloonz focused on careful structuring and reliable transmission of this data within the request body, ensuring seamless integration with external services. The implementation was delivered in Go and leveraged backend development and API design skills to minimize changes to the API surface, reducing risk. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-contained engineering effort with clear technical depth.
