Worked on stabilizing the authentication workflow in the potiuk/airflow repository by addressing a critical issue in the Flask AppBuilder (FAB) Authentication Manager. Using Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy, delivered a targeted fix that prevented a 500 error occurring when the authentication manager was recreated, ensuring authentication token requests no longer failed under these conditions. This solution involved disciplined debugging and a minimal-risk patch that validated the end-to-end authentication flow in production-like scenarios. The work improved the reliability and uptime of authentication endpoints, resulting in smoother user experiences and reducing the operational burden of handling authentication-related outages for the project.
