Worked on integrating NH-MCP-Server into the Private AI Rag Helm chart within the nethopper2/kaops-addons repository, focusing on deployment automation and upgrade safety. The approach involved progressive Helm chart version bumps, dependency updates, and the addition of a configurable values.yaml entry for NH-MCP-Server, enhancing flexibility and maintainability. Refactored nested configuration access to improve reliability, while managing dependencies and documenting changes to ensure a clear upgrade path. Utilized DevOps practices, Helm chart management, and YAML configuration to streamline Kubernetes deployments. The work delivered a safer, more configurable deployment process, supporting future upgrades and reducing operational risk for the project.
