During June 2025, Soha Fatima contributed to the Codecademy/gamut repository by designing and implementing two new SVG-based icons for the Live Learning Hub UI. Focusing on iconography, Soha created the OnlineClassStudentIcon to improve mobile navigation and the MiniQuoteIcon to enhance the testimonials section, both aligning with the existing design system. The work involved careful asset packaging and descriptive, trackable commits to maintain code quality and consistency. While no bugs were addressed during this period, Soha’s efforts resulted in cleaner, more intuitive UI elements, demonstrating a focused application of front-end skills and attention to design-driven development requirements.
