Worked on improving the AI chat user experience in the factorialco/factorial-one repository by addressing a bug related to the ordering and deduplication of thinking messages. Applied expertise in React and TypeScript to ensure that thinking groups are correctly ordered and that action thinking messages are not duplicated, resulting in clearer and more intuitive conversation flows. The targeted fix involved adjusting the rendering logic so that thinking messages consistently appear above text messages, reducing user confusion and enhancing reliability. All changes were delivered in a single, well-documented commit, providing maintainability and clear traceability for future front end development efforts.
