Developed a targeted enhancement for the cognitedata/toolkit repository by introducing a hierarchy parameter to the cdf dump timeseries command, enabling users to specify asset hierarchies directly from the CLI. This feature, implemented in Python with a focus on CLI development and API integration, improved automation and reproducibility in downstream data pipelines by supporting non-interactive workflows and finer control over timeseries data output. The work included updating documentation and the changelog to ensure traceability and clarity for other developers. Throughout the project, emphasis was placed on reliability, automation, and enhancing the overall developer experience within the toolkit’s timeseries dump workflow.
