Worked on the opensourcerouting/frr repository to enhance BGP Flowspec NLRI parsing by addressing a protocol compliance issue. Focused on removing an incorrect size limit check that previously caused valid BGP announcements with multiple flowspec NLRIs to be rejected, the update brought the implementation in line with RFC 8955. This targeted bug fix improved interoperability and stability for users relying on accurate flowspec processing. The work involved in-depth understanding of network protocols and routing, with changes implemented in C. The contribution reflects careful attention to standards compliance and directly addressed a nuanced parsing error affecting real-world BGP deployments.
