Worked on kubernetes/kops to deliver configurable performance tuning for the Kubernetes scheduler, focusing on QPS and Burst parameters to support scalability and throughput goals. Developed and integrated new configuration options using Go, updating the configuration model to allow operators to fine-tune scheduler resource usage for large clusters and diverse workloads. Ensured reliability by implementing comprehensive tests that validate correct application and prevent misconfiguration of the new parameters. The work emphasized production readiness, with review-ready commits and alignment to project standards. This contribution enhanced the flexibility and operational control of Kubernetes deployments, leveraging skills in Go, Kubernetes, and testing methodologies.
