During December 2024, Sylver enhanced the bcgov/nr-bcws-wfprev repository by developing performance-focused CI/CD features using YAML, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices. Sylver implemented dynamic deployment environment targeting, allowing the CI pipeline to select the correct environment—development, staging, or production—based on input parameters, which reduces the risk of misdirected releases. Additionally, Sylver improved credential management by securely integrating Liquibase command passwords as environment variables within the client-build workflow, ensuring sensitive data is handled safely during deployments. These changes increased automation, reproducibility, and security in the deployment process, reflecting a focused and methodical approach to CI/CD pipeline reliability.
