Worked on enhancing Les_Caractères.xml within the UBS_M1_TEI repository, focusing on both content and metadata improvements to strengthen data integrity and editorial clarity. Applied XML and data structuring skills to consolidate structural IDs, correct wording and spelling, and update note types, while enriching bibliographic attributes for better downstream usability. Introduced new geographic definitions with GPS coordinates to improve precision and added glyphs for specific characters, refining both character rendering and paragraph formatting. Delivered these updates incrementally through multiple commits, resulting in improved data quality, consistency for XML processing, and enhanced search and display capabilities within the repository’s workflows.
