Worked on the GSA/search-gov repository to enhance deployment flexibility and restore critical admin functionality. Addressed a key issue in the Customer Admin Centers by reverting a malformed change, which reinstated the embed code snippet’s intended behavior and preserved stable UI performance. Improved the deployment process by removing the Capistrano gem version lock, enabling faster and more adaptable update cycles. Focused on maintaining backward compatibility to minimize customer disruption while supporting future improvements. Utilized Ruby on Rails and HAML for front end development, applying DevOps and deployment skills to ensure reliable product iterations and a smoother experience for both users and developers.
