Stuart Campbell enhanced contributor metadata management for the bluesky/bluesky repository by integrating ORCID identifiers into the project’s .doecode.yml configuration. This update standardized contributor attribution, improving metadata accuracy and supporting downstream analytics and governance. Stuart utilized Git-based version control to ensure traceability, making two targeted commits that enriched the configuration without introducing bugs. The work demonstrated proficiency in YAML configuration and metadata standards, as well as effective collaboration with project contributors. While the scope was focused, the solution addressed the need for reliable contributor recognition and laid groundwork for more robust analytics, reflecting careful attention to detail and process integrity.
