April 2025: Delivered the Sighting Data Model Enhancements and Admin Review Workflow for WhaleSpotting. Implemented user attribution (PostedById) and status-based reporting (SightingsResponse status/userName), and added a comprehensive admin review workflow (SightingReview) with endpoints, migrations, and repository support to approve/reject sightings with comments. This work strengthens governance, traceability, and audit readiness while enabling faster, policy-compliant moderation of sightings.

March 2025 update for techswitch-learners/WhaleSpottingMarch2025: Implemented foundational user authentication system and identity management, establishing the core user model, roles, seed data, migrations, and admin credentials. Completed authentication scaffolding, enabling secure onboarding and access control. Updated README to reflect setup and usage. This work provides the security foundation and paves the way for future enhancements (password resets, OAuth, MFA) and scalable user lifecycle management.

February 2025 Monthly Summary — Mars Mission 2025 January repo. Delivered foundational Mars Rover Explorer homepage with routing framework, refactored navigation to remove routing from App.tsx, and overhauled the homepage UI for responsiveness. Addressed navigation-related bugs by removing explicit Rover routing and cleaning up unused imports, updated tests to align with href-based navigation to improve test reliability. Results: more maintainable front-end, faster iteration cycles, and a robust foundation for future rover features. Technologies demonstrated include React, TypeScript, front-end routing patterns, and UI/UX responsiveness.
