Sumeet worked on the badlogic/pi-mono repository, where he developed real-time extension event forwarding to enable extensions to access message lifecycle and tool execution events as they occur. Using TypeScript and an event-driven architecture, he updated the extension event system’s core plumbing, including types and exports, to support streaming UIs and richer integrations. His contributions exposed token-by-token and tool-progress events, allowing extensions to build more interactive user experiences. Sumeet co-authored this work, demonstrating strong collaboration and code quality. The feature addressed the need for real-time updates in extensions, reflecting depth in both architectural changes and practical integration capabilities.
