Worked on stabilizing the Puback flow in the Azure/iot-operations-sdks repository, focusing on resolving a critical issue in the Dotnet SDK. Addressed an infinite tight loop by resetting the _gate synchronization primitive when the message queue became empty, which prevented hangs and improved reliability for production environments. The solution involved careful concurrency management and bug fixing using C#, ensuring that the SDK’s Puback path no longer risked causing outages or increased support requests. This work enhanced the robustness of the SDK’s message acknowledgment process, reflecting a methodical approach to SDK development and maintenance within a complex distributed system.
