Developed AWS CDK support within the harness/harness-schema repository’s pipeline configuration, enabling infrastructure as code capabilities directly in CI/CD workflows. The work involved defining new plugin step nodes and specifications to execute AWS CDK commands, allowing teams to manage infrastructure provisioning and updates through automated pipelines. Using JSON and YAML, the developer integrated these changes into the iacm stage, ensuring alignment with existing pipeline standards and improving reproducibility across environments. This approach accelerated deployment processes and enhanced governance by embedding infrastructure management into the CI/CD lifecycle, demonstrating a strong focus on code hygiene and measurable business impact through streamlined tooling.
