Supriya worked on the Layr-Labs/eigenda repository, delivering V2 Retrieval Isolation to improve the retrieval subsystem’s network security and stability. She introduced a dedicated V2 retrieval port and updated socket handling so that V1 and V2 retrieval operations run on separate ports, reducing cross-path interference and enabling safer coexistence of different protocol versions. This approach leveraged her skills in network programming, port management, and system design, using Go and gRPC to implement the changes. The work addressed the need for better network isolation and smoother upgrades, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering effort within a complex distributed system environment.
