Worked on the alephpiece/cherry-studio repository to enhance the stability and reliability of the OpenMinerU preprocessing pipeline. Addressed ENOENT errors caused by changes in the MinerU ZIP structure by implementing a recursive Markdown file discovery mechanism using TypeScript. This solution involved updating file handling and error handling logic to support both single-level and nested ZIP layouts, ensuring compatibility across MinerU versions. The approach preserved existing API behavior while reducing manual intervention in batch PDF processing workflows. Documentation and release notes were updated to reflect these changes, contributing to improved maintainability and resilience in backend development processes.
