Developed a reusable GitHub Actions workflow for Anchore Grype vulnerability scanning in the aerospike/shared-workflows repository, focusing on CI/CD automation and security tooling. The workflow enables parameterized scans by image name with an optional severity cutoff, allowing teams to standardize vulnerability detection across container images. Leveraged YAML to define the workflow and incorporated DevOps best practices to ensure maintainability and ease of adoption. Updated the repository’s documentation to clarify the new workflow structure and naming conventions, supporting consistent usage across projects. This work streamlined vulnerability scanning processes and improved the overall security posture of projects utilizing the shared-workflows repository.
