Worked on enhancing the CI pipeline for the ibm-mas/cli repository by integrating MCPI functional verification tests directly into the Tekton-based workflow. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, YAML, and Jinja2, the developer created a dedicated task within the pipeline to automatically execute the MCPI test suite as part of continuous integration. This approach improved automated validation of core functionality, enabling earlier detection of regressions and reducing post-merge risk. The work focused on patch-based commits and CI task orchestration, resulting in more robust releases and increased developer velocity by ensuring that functional issues could be identified and addressed before code merges.
