Developed and integrated the Vegetation Management (Vegm) add-on within the Manage component of the ibm-mas/ansible-devops repository, focusing on streamlining deployment and configuration processes. The work centered on implementing a new versioned configuration block in the manage_components.yml.j2 template, allowing teams to specify and manage Vegm versions directly through YAML and Jinja2 templating. This approach automated the integration and management of the Vegm add-on, reducing manual configuration steps and improving consistency across environments. The solution aligned with existing CI/CD and release processes, supporting faster provisioning and easier maintenance while demonstrating skills in Ansible and configuration management.
