Developed AES+GCMP encryption support for the TR-181 Wi-Fi device model in the rdkcentral/OneWifi repository, focusing on enhancing Wi-Fi security and remote management. The work involved implementing recognition and handling of the AES+GCMP EncryptionMethod, updating validation, decoding, and encoding logic to support the new encryption type. Using C and leveraging expertise in embedded systems and network protocols, the developer enabled secure configuration and management of Wi-Fi access points. The changes were delivered as a single, traceable commit linked to RDKB-58489, reflecting a focused approach to improving device management and Wi-Fi security within the OneWifi codebase.
